The Mingary Care Op Shop at Warana is the nicest I have ever shopped in. It’s spacious, bright, well organised and staffed by friendly, helpful volunteers.

It stocks gently used (and sometimes brand-new) products at great-value prices. All profits go directly to providing palliative-care services and supports for people living with life-limiting or terminal illnesses.

The majority of space in the shop is taken up by a big variety of women’s clothing (including heaps of near-new gym wear), along with jewellery, footwear and bags. There is also a good selection of children’s clothing and menswear.

The kitchenware and glassware collection includes vintage items in a great range from kitsch to contemporary. Other well-represented categories include linen, toys and jigsaw puzzles, as well as books, DVDs, and CDs, artwork, and costume and craft supplies. (The shop does not stock furniture.)

If you haven’t discovered this absolute gem, tucked away behind Subway in Waterview Street, Warana, check it out soon!

This op shop is like stepping into a mini department store. The shop is clean, bright and offers a very diverse range of quality clothing, shoes, bric-a-brac, toys, jewellery etc and wait until you see the beautifully appointed library. 📚 the lovely ladies who keep this shop in tip top condition are just lovely and more than willing to help find exactly what you need.
