Op Shop Teacups and Bling for your Booze

I managed a browse in peace and quiet today with my 5 year old at kinder and my 18 month old napping in the pram (a rarity).

I popped into a couple of my locals whilst doing some mundane overdue tasks.

They had some beautiful vintage teacups and sets there, so pretty but I have no where to put them and unlikely to use them (along with the one’s I have already!).

Hi tea would be a glitzy affair with this gold tea set!

There were about 3 more pieces to this gold tea set not pictured, $15 is a steal!

If you’re having tea in gold you have to have something equally regal for later right?

What about a silver wine glass set and matching carafe!  Again there are a couple of glasses not shown here so another op shop bargain at $15.

Now I ummmmmeeeddd and aaaahhhhhed with the vintage Nylex set but figured Mr Op Shop would give me “the look” if I bought this home!

I will share something I picked up a couple of days ago though, well worth the $2 price tag!

The Op Shop kids are loving this, the youngest mainly enjoys throwing the dice on the floor and irritating his brother but I figure I’ve got decades of that to get used to.

Mr Op Shop is yet to see what I actually did buy, that’s a different post…… wish me luck!

All of these items were from one of my local church run op shops.  They always have some great prices but my favourite reason for shopping there is how friendly the volunteers always are.

Have you had any luck at the op shops recently?  Feel free to drop me a message with some pics and I’ll add them to the site to share the love of op shopping.
