Chicks Conquering Cancer Op Shop Tour
Keep Saturday the 25th March free if you’re an op shop fan in Brisbane.
Chicks Conquering Cancer have a full on day planned beginning at Brown’s Plain Salvos Store.
Tickets are $65 and you get a spot of morning and afternoon tea included.
The tour takes place on a chartered coach so you’ll be shopping in style. It’s an 8am start and you’ll return at 4.30 so wear comfortable shoes, bring your totes and bring water to keep hydrated.
There will also be some fun raffles and auctions planned for shoppers so bring some spare change.

So there’s been a great response to our Seriously Dance USA Team Fundraiser trip which will go ahead on Saturday 14th of May.

Spots are limited so make sure you get in touch with them sooner rather than later.
Op shop tours are great for the avid op shoppers and ideal as a day out with a couple friends. The tours are friendly and their is lots of chat and time for coffee to keep you going.
You know you’ll be in good hands as the tour guides have over 60 years of op shopping experience and will no doubt share some tips as well as stories along the way.

Brisbane Op Shop Tours
Queensland animal and op shop lovers get ready for the RSPCA 25% sale being held to help rehome over 400 animals and raise some money for a much loved charity.
The sale runs this weekend on the 27th and 28th of June. There will be reductions on adoption fees as well as op shop goods and discounts in the World for Pets stores.

RSPCA 25% Sale
Brisbane op shoppers another great one for your thrifty diaries! The Lifeline Bookfest is coming back on June the 6th to 9th at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
It’s Queensland’s largest sale of preloved books and is attended by thousands looking to quench their literary thirst. It’s fundraising for Lifeline’s Crisis Support Line which operates 24/7.
You can expect over 4km of tables, yes you read that right, 4km of tables selling a massive array of books to suit all readers.
There will also be magazines, puzzles, DVDs, CDs, vinyl and board games on sale.
Prices start from as little as $1!!
Brisbane’s Lifeline Bookfest
- Bring strong bags with you. As you leave one section your books will be bagged so volunteers know they have been paid for but you’re bound to buy more than you expect so bring some good quality shopping bags with you just in case.
- They have thought of everything! Trolley will be available to hire for a gold coin donation, I know I’d donate to avoid arm ache!
- Wear comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water.
