The Ku-ring-gai council has partnered with The Clothing Exchange team to organise a free clothes swap event.  Local residents will have the opportunity to bring some items from their wardrobes that they no longer need and exchange them for up to six items.

Not only are these exceptionally thrifty events to help stretch your budget further they are also fabulous for encouraging recycling within the community.

How does the clothes swap work?

You can bring in up to six pieces of clothing and in exchange you’ll be given up to six buttons.  These buttons can be used as currency to “buy” up to six items donated by others once the event opens.

When and Where is the Ku-ring-gai clothes swap happening?

The event takes place on the 17th September between 2-4pm at the St Ives Showgrounds for residents of Ku-ring-gai.

It’s a free event but you will need to book tickets here here.
