Preloved Market – Raid My Wardrobe @ Cessnock

As part of Cessnock Council’s Less is More campaign Raid My Wardrobe will be hosting a preloved market on Sunday 30th April in Cessnock.

The Less is More campaign aims to

seek change with our relationship with products and encourage us all to reuse, repair, rent, borrow and share rather than always buying new.

That is something I totally can get behind and support!

Upcycle Newcastle will also be there along with their Repair Cafe and Rescue Rack.  The Rescue Rack.  The Rescue Rack has good quality but slightly damaged clothing from op shops that you can pick from and have repaired by a seamstress there on the day for a small fee.  What a brilliant opportunity to prolong the life of an item that may have been headed to landfill!

What is the Raid My Wardrobe Preloved Market?

It’s a curated indoor market that will feature over 25 stallholder selling quality preloved fashion and accessories.

You know I’m a huge advocate for supporting the circular economy so I wanted to let you all know about this.

On the day you can expect brands such as

  • Cooper Street
  • Sass & Bide
  • Tigerlilly
  • Tokita
  • Saba
  • Cue
  • Witchery
  • Kookai and many more!
Stallholder spots are exhausted but pop to the Raid My Wardrobe website to find out about future events.
