Studio Thrifty 4
Studio Thrifty 4 has opened in Albion, Brisbane and supports the Pay A Sack Forward charity who fundraise to support the homeless.
This shop has such a great vibe, they had me at disco balls!
Looks to be thrifty in name and nature with some really low prices and regular specials.
They are even having a special National Op Shop Week evening event hosted by Never ever Pay Retail. Head over and show some support!

Pay a Sack Forward aims to support those experiencing homelessness in Australia through the distribution of ‘survival sacks’.
$5 = 1 survival sack
Just five dollars allows us to provide an individual with a sack containing basic essentials including food and hygiene products. These are distributed by our volunteer team, and through our partner organisation’s including food vans, drop in centres and outreach services.

Salvos Family Store Meadowbrook Opening!
The Salvos Family Store Meadowbrook opens this week giving Brisbane op shoppers another place to hunt for bargains.
They’ll also have a few special things lined up for the grand opening.
The store is at units 4 & 5 13 Logandownes Drive, Meadowbrook.

Now open at 194 Zillmere Rd, Zillmere QLD.
It’s one of Be Uplifted’s newest op shops and it looks lovely.

Seriously Dance Brisbane Op Shop Tour
Brisbane op shop fans this tour is for you!
So there’s been a great response to our Seriously Dance USA Team Fundraiser trip which will go ahead on Saturday 14th of May.
We already have over 100 people who have expressed their interest in the event via the Event Page on Facebook.

The Collectorville Retro Fair is new to Brisbane and holds its first event on Sunday September 6th at the Rocklea Showgrounds.
They promise hectares filled with retro, vintage, preloved and antique collectables including
- Antiques – Antique bottles, vinyl records and automobilia
- Bric-a-brac – Fine china, dolls, retro fabric and kitchenalia
- Curios – Musical instruments, clocks and small furniture
- Ephemera – Bicycles, jewellery, cameras and farm tools
- Retro – Toys and games, radios, paintings and prints
- Collectables – Robots, advertising ephemera and chandeliers
